Working with children and families affected by HIV

Grandma's is a Christian charity aiming to give practical support to children and families affected by HIV regardless of their race, religion, gender, sexuality, lifestyle or any other factor. We work in London and in India. We have been active in some 20 rural communities in Andhra Pradesh, as well as in Sonagachi, the biggest brothel area of Calcutta, where we have a school and a church. We are also planning to start a medical clinic. We have just started a small income-generating project to enable some of the women to earn money from the sale of greetings cards and handicrafts.
